Results of Olympia 2022 Women's Physique
The intrigue persisted until the very moment the final results were announced by the judging panel. At last year's Olympia 2021, Sarah had a tough time against competitors like Natalia Abraham Coelho and Brooke Walker.
Therefore, it was unclear by the time of the tournament whether the reigning champion could retain the title this year.
Brooke Walker 3rd place
Brooke Walker repeats her previous year's performance on the Olympia stage and rounds out the top three leaders of the division. Brooke showcased excellent form, but this time she couldn't climb higher.
Thus, the American athlete earns the bronze and receives a monetary prize of $12,000.
Sarah Villegas 2nd place
Sarah Villegas displayed her signature form, but it wasn't enough to compete and retain the title this year.
This time, the two-time Olympia champion is forced to settle for second place and a consolation prize of $20,000.
Natalia Abraham Coelho 1st place
On the evening of December 16, 2022, Olympia spectators learned the name of the new champion in the Women's Physique division. It was Natalia Abraham Coelho.
During the preliminary judging, it was clear who the battle would unfold between in the top 2. However, the difference from the previous tournament was that the participants swapped places.
The winner of Olympia 2021 dropped to second place, and the silver slice rose to the top of the tournament table.
So, at Olympia 2022 in the Women's Physique category, Natalia Abraham Coelho wins her first gold and becomes the recipient of the $50,000 prize.
