Olympia 2022 Classic Physique classic physique
In this review, you will learn how the rankings were distributed among the athletes of this division and whether Chris Bumstead was able to maintain his leadership. Photos and videos are included in the report.
At the end of the page, the final tournament table is presented along with links to the results of Olympia in other divisions.
Kirill Khudaev 11th place
This year, three Ukrainian athletes took to the Olympia stage. Vlad Sukhoruchko debuted in the open category. Oleg Krivy surpassed Keone Pearson and demonstrated excellent results in the 212-pound category.
Kharkov native Kirill Khudaev competed among the world's best athletes in the Classic Physique division. As a result of the tournament, the judges placed the athlete only 11th.
Kirill himself noted that he approached the preparation very responsibly and aimed to perform in the tournament's final.
However, he fell just one position short of making it into the overall top 10, as only athletes from the top 10 compete in the final. Kirill displayed excellent form, and 11th place was a rather disappointing result.

Nevertheless, despite the athlete's own expectations not being met, securing the 11th place among 50 participants is a very worthy result given the level of competition.
After his performance, Kirill wrote in his Instagram blog: "Now it's official, friends. I took 11th place, and I was just a few points away from making it to the final. But we won't stop there. Being 11th among the 50 best athletes in the world is quite an achievement. If we need to work harder, we will work harder."
We wish Kirill success in the future, and with such determination, his next appearance will likely be more successful.
Top 6 — Olympia 2022 Classic Physique
Terrence Ruffin 6th place
Terrence Ruffin's result was a big surprise for the audience. The athlete had twice won silver at the Olympia, but something went wrong this year. The result: only 6th place in the Classic Physique category.
Everyone remembers the athlete's excellent form, his superb posing, and aesthetics. Just like in other sports, bodybuilding is not always straightforward; there are setbacks. Fans believe that next year they will see the same or perhaps a new, completely different Terrence.
Mike Sommerfeld 5th place
Mike Sommerfeld placed seventh at the previous 2021 Olympia. This year, progress is evident. The athlete moved up two places and secured fifth place.
Breon Ansley 4th place
Prior to his performance at the Olympia 2022 stage, Breon Ansley announced his departure from the Classic Physique category. The athlete argued that in the current situation, it is difficult for him to progress while staying within the weight limits of the category.
Compared to last year's result, the athlete dropped one place and took fourth. Most likely, next year we will see the athlete in a different division, presumably the 212-pound category.
Nevertheless, despite everything, Breon achieved a very worthy form and took the stage in good condition, but perhaps switching to another division will help the athlete "improve" even more and reach new heights on the Olympia stage.
Urs Kalecinski 3rd place
Urs Kalecinski surpassed Breon Ansley and moved up one position compared to the 2021 Olympia. This athlete is only 24 years old, but he is already making tremendous strides in competitive bodybuilding.
Of course, the form he displayed is far from the limit for the young athlete, and with such potential, he has everything ahead of him. Excellent genetics and proportions overall give reason to place great hopes on him.
Third place at the main bodybuilding tournament — Urs should be pleased with his result
Ramon Rocha 2nd place
Last year, Ramon Rocha, like Urs Kalecinski, confidently announced himself on the Olympia stage. Then he closed the top five. Over the year, the Brazilian athlete has done a tremendous amount of work, and his efforts were not in vain. It was already clear before the 2022 Olympia between whom the main battle in the top would unfold.
Winner Olympia 2022 Classic Physique
No matter how good the opponents were, the reigning champion was simply unbeatable. As a result, Chris Bumstead secured a confident, already fourth victory at the Olympia 2022.
Bumstead was flawless: hardness and texture, proportions, posing, and charisma — he had it all, all at the highest level.
Chris Bumstead is currently the most popular athlete in the fitness industry. He rightfully holds the title and, without exaggeration, embodies modern bodybuilding. Watch the comparison video of Chris Bumstead and Ramon Rocha below.
