Low HDL Levels During a Cycle
In reality, lipoprotein levels (both high and low density) tend to stabilize relatively quickly after the cessation of a "cycle". Moreover, short "cycles" can prevent this problem right from the start.
But if you have experienced a drop in HDL and do not want to wait, you can opt for one of three solutions.
HDL Adjustment
- Option One – The Simplest The first and most obvious option is the intake of omega-3 fatty acids. But not just any omega-3s, specifically those rich in eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and docosahexaenoic (DHA) acids. Together, you need at least two grams per day.
- Option Two – Not Very Pleasant The second option is taking niacin. However, niacin, while solving one problem, creates another – flushing. The flushing can be so intense that it can seriously disrupt your life. If you still decide to try niacin, remember that you need a substantial amount – about 1.5 grams per day.
- Option Three – Optimal The optimal option is taking cardarine. This agent has many beneficial properties – it can significantly increase endurance, prevent the development of inflammatory processes (which is beneficial not only for the joints but also for the cardiovascular system), and prevent insulin resistance. And yes: it truly increases HDL levels, requiring only 10 mg per day (although taking more won’t hurt).
So, choose the option that you like the most and go for it. Especially since there is plenty to choose from!
